Works!
I wanted to write a REAL review, not one that says "great product and hopefully, I won't have to use it." That doesn't really speak of its effectiveness.
Unfortunately, I DID have to use this after being attacked. I knew it was coming so I already had this stun gun in my back pocket, and after being punched in the face by a MAN 4 times my size, I pulled it out and stunned him right in the throat. He DROPPED and the attack was over! I can honestly say that this was a great investment and I now buy them for my female friends and family as gifts.

Not very debilitating, but very intimidating and painful!
Very small and easy to carry. And the sound alone would be enough to scare off most purse snatchers and creeps. After I bought it, me and my friend tested it out on each other. Holding it to the skin for even a moment was enough to leave a scar. I tried to go for 5 seconds (which is says causes loss of muscle control) but I couldn’t take it longer then 2. I probably could have taken the pain, but my instincts kicked in like I was being attacked by a giant bee and I jumped away. Afterwords we could smell my burnt sweatpants, and it left a scar that lasted about a month. Although I didn’t have dazed mental state and muscle spasms like it says in the instructions, and I’m not sure how useful the product would be on a large man or someone who is motivated enough to keep attaching despite the pain. Despite that, it’s an amazing product for the price and I feel much safer carrying it with me.
P.S. only needs to be charged an hour every month! And you can plug it right into the wall. .

Scared the crap out of myself with this
Scared the crap out of myself with this. This thing makes a very loud noise-which is really good for scaring someone off. Upon receiving the product I had to test it to make sure it worked. The sound is A LOT louder than I expected from something so small and handheld. This little thing packs a punch. I recommend this for anyone who walks alone frequently in a bad area, or for someone like me who always feels a little paranoid when I travel to the city for work everyday. One thing I would recommend before purchasing this is checking your state's laws on these kinds of weapons, so you don't get in trouble for carrying it somewhere you're not allowed to have it or anything like that. Otherwise this little thing is pretty great for my sense of mind and I hope I never have to use it.

Perfect for walking my dog
I haven't had to use it yet but testing it seems like it's powerful. The case and double button turn on makes me feel safe carrying it in my bag.

Bought this after a run on a trail and was almost r*ped. I bring this everywhere I go along with my pepper spray. Now i'm prepared for any thing like that to happen again. Totally recommend you get this, for that 'just in case' moment.
