Well made, nice features.
T I purchased this to carry when out alone, it is slightly bigger than I imagined and looks a lot like a flare gun. Its too big to discreetly carry in a pocket but could fit easily in a handbag. I haven't used my test canister yet but its pretty straight forward. I love the safety feature and the LED would be useful for night use.

Perfect (With extremly minor flaws)
The practice container (water cartridge) is preloaded which makes it easy to pull out and practice with, in a sense of defense there is about enough to stun two people, or fully seize one person, the distance is great and shoots powerfully, if your familiar with an actual gun it's extremely simple, reloading is very simple as well, the build is sturdy but the grip feels hollow, while the chamber is a solid metal, strong enough to hit your attacker after you spray them to get way from them,

**I did not know this came with a light which toggles between a steady stream of light and flashing light, my only change would be to have some sort of switch to go between the two but the product is perfect for home defense,

***also I would not recommend you take this out of your home as it looks too much like an actual gun, and may be too bulky for a man to carry without a bag, for a women it'll suffice in a purse, (unless your a guy who likes purses then no problem) I'd Deffinatly recomended for a friend,

I don't know where to start. This lil mace gun is badass!! the practice water canister was nice to show how far it can shoot(plus it was kinda funny to shoot the water at my fiance and pit for fun.) the build in LED light gave you enough light when ever you needed it. I bought two extra canisters of pepper mace as well and kept those in a separate holster on my belt as well. I will purchase another one here shortly due to me misplacing it. WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!

I am a female, petite, senior citizen who enjoys hikes. Unfortunately, my husband is unable to hike with me. There have been some attacks in our area on women who were biking or running alone. I am not about to let pervs stop me from getting my daily exercise, but it did worry me that I didn't have anything to protect myself with. I considered getting a conceal carry permit and carrying a small gun. Thing is, I don't really want to cause permanent injury to someone......I just want them to go away! Enter the Mace Pepper Gun. It gives me a sense of security, knowing I at least have something to use in an emergency. I practiced with the water cartridge, and it shoots a good stream a good distance. The pistol grip makes it easy to aim and shoot. I appreciate the safety switch location and ease of activating.

I'm a receptionist, and while our clients are never a worry, we did have a scare once with someone who didn't belong in our office. I purchased this "just in case" and since I've only had it a few hours I haven't had to use it yet! I did however appreciate the water canister to practice with, it definitely came in handy to realize hat my coworker and I who were trying to use it were not squeezing the trigger hard enough! It was easy to use and I feel confident that if I ever need to use it, it will be successful. I hope to never need it obviously, but just in case, I'm glad to have it. I'm also glad I didn't get one that you press your finger on, because I just know I'm the heat of the moment I would end up shooting myself in the face or just failing miserably.

Nice stream, good range, easy to handle, bulky in pocket.
Nice product. It is a little bulky for the pocket, but they do make a holster for it. I used the practice cartridge and it has an excellent range (15-20ft) that comes out in a stream, as opposed to a mist. I am going to figure out a way to make it clip to the inside of my pocket.

I bought this after my neighbor's pit bull came under the fence and attacked my mother and my 14 year old lab. I broke it up initially with a can of pepper spray that I had been carrying around for several years, and the range on that can was only about 7 feet in a mist. I experienced some blow back and got some on myself, which was as you might imagine somewhat unpleasant. It barely made it to the dog, but was just enough to stop the attack. and get the dog out of my yard.

Just a word of precaution. Be careful where and how you use this. It may be totally legal where you reside, but it does resemble a real firearm from about any distance. I wouldn't go walking around with it in my hand or jogging like you would with a normal can of pepper spray, you would look like a crazy person walking around with a pistol, and I imagine you could get taken in on some trumped up charge for brandishing or something.
