loud and alarming as it should be
I thankfully haven’t had to use this in a dangerous situation. Testing it out was enough to assure me it would alarm those around me and deter as necessary. It was loud and the flash very bright. So it definitely works as described. It was also easy to use - and I think would be easy enough if a split second decision had to be made to use it. Also cute, so maybe not as obvious of what it is in my keychain which would also add to the element of surprise when using it I think.

When I tested it, it was very loud. So loud that you can hear it over loud music. The light is also super bright that (brighter than a phone light) so you can be spotted and helped. It’s a good size so you can find it if you need it. I bought a color I can easily find in my purse if I don’t have it in my hand. It’s stays locked while in my purse and is made of quality materials. It's super loud, super bright, and easy to use... The only negative thing I have to say is the placement of the speaker in regard to the light is a bit confusing. If you hold it with the speaker facing the predator, what was the point of the light? It's getting flashed in your eyes!! If you hold it with the light facing the predator, the noise breaks your ear drums!!

I just can't say enough about these alarms. I had been researching the best alarms for awhile. I finally decided on these. They are more expensive than others I have seen but they're worth every penny.
I wanted a loud alarm when I'm walking my dog. I am at risk for falling, so that was my first reason for purchasing one. The sound is very loud and will easily alert others. Secondly, it will definitely deter an attacker or animal.
